Francisco Rivera, MD was born and raised in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA.  After graduating from Harvard Univeristy with an A.B. cum laude in Biochemical Sciences, he went to UCSD School of Medicine for his medical degree. Dr. Rivera went on to complete internship and residency at Children's Hospital of Orange County in Orange, CA.  After spending a few years as a locum tenens physician in Pueblo, CO; Salinas, CA; Albuquerque, NM; Beckley, WV; and Troy, NY, he worked in New York City at Pediatrics 2000 in Inwood while his wife finished her graduate school education at Columbia.  Dr. Rivera returned home and has been practicing at Huntington Plaza Pediatric Group in Pasadena, CA since 2006.
